The Journyz app also helps us meet young people where they are at and allows them to easily share their service activities with us. Journyz also gives companies (and their employees) the opportunity to connect with students in a very meaningful way - which helps companies build a talent pipeline of future leaders, and at the same time, empowers their employees to help inspire students to make a difference.
Cabot Solutions is a leading custom software development company, with offices in the US, India and UAE. Cabot had a set of employee engagement activities that turned out to be not very engaging. These initiatives had their heart in the right place, but it was difficult to get employees really excited about participating in these activities. Cabot used Journyz to carry out their existing engagement campaigns but that wasn’t very successful either.
And that was the actual challenge Cabot wanted to solve - how to truly transform their employee engagement with Journyz.
After extensive discussions with the Cabot HR team, we identified the missing element in Cabot employee engagement campaigns - social engagement. The existing initiatives, even when on Journyz, were more of a one way communication, rather than engagement.
The Journyz team decided to solve this problem by introducing certain tweaks to the existing programs, creating opportunities for Cabot to truly put Journyz to use. These new campaigns allowed the employees to be active participants, and introduced elements of social interaction that boosted engagement.
With the new and revamped initiatives, Cabot saw a huge spike in their employee engagement scores. Usually varying between 0-1000, the scores jumped to 10,000 points with the new campaigns.
